Simple and ingenious - Check if your car paint is genuine or re-painted due to Accidents or crashes.

For hiding accident repairs or rust, one needs to apply thicker coating: it is unusual that it works without putty and never without a second layer of paint. At such repaired spots therefore, the coating is thicker.

Due to the CrashCheck® the thickness deviation can be figured out fast and reliably. QNix CrashCheck® was developed particularly for used car trading. Simply place the tester on the car body and press the red button. The tester immediately indicates what one cannot see with the naked eyes:

Green indicates that the paint is of normal thickness
Yellow indicates that the paint may be significantly thicker than usual
Red indicates WARNING!* Paint considerably thicker, possibly result of repainted and / or use of body filler, hidden rust
