Keeping the tradition of bringing fresh and exclusive content for our readers, PakWheels.com has once again brought a walkaround of newly launched SUV, Santa Fe, in Pakistan.

Hyundai-Nishat Motors introduced the seven-seater SUV at an event at the Emporium Mall. Note here that Santa Fe has been shipped to Pakistan with a 2.4 MPI Atkinson Cycle, Gasoline engine coupled with 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters that makes 170 hp at 6,000 rpm and 225 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.

The exterior of the car is impressive. At the front, there are LED lights and Xenon lamps which come standard in Santa Fe. The colour of the car, which they put for display, is very unique– it’s a signature colour of Hyundai Santa Fe. The side profile of the car is a great treat for the eyes.

Moving onwards, the car houses imported tyres, as it’s a CBU. The size of the car is bigger than that of Suzuki Vitara and KIA Sportage and its rear-end is premium class. The SUV also houses diffuser bumper. Just like the exterior, the interior of the vehicle is amazing. It has an ample amount of headroom and legroom. Due to being a CBU, the build and paint quality is top-notch.

To increase the space in the vehicle, you can fold both the third and second row. The car has a smart and keyless entry option, which is great. The SUV has a top-notch digital meter, moreover, it is equipped with paddle shifters, traction control, diff lock etc. As far as the safety features are concerned, the vehicle is equipped with SRS airbags(Driver-Passenger), ABS, ESC, HAC, DBC, EPB, engine immobilizer, parking sensors etc.

There is 7 inch TFT screen, rear camera and all the connectivity options in Hyundai Santa Fe. More importantly, the price of the vehicle starts from PKR 16 million and goes all the way to PKR 18.5 million based on the features one opt for. The justification that the company gives for this is that the vehicle is imported and therefore incurs approximately 300% in compounded duties and taxes.
