I was recently at the verge of buying a Vezel when I wanted to replace my Prius. And at the end totally backed off and blacklisted it because the DCT issue is still there. Although it is much less now but according to many people it might come sooner or later and has been reported in a few cars even after the recall.
I am not saying it is for sure gonna hit you before Vezel owners start getting offensive and defensive and bombard me with their curse, what I am saying is the risk is there. A famous importer recently imported a 2017 unit and that went through a failed transmission. So therefore I crossed it out of the options. Why have a time bomb under your foot
And please don’t come up with reasons and incidents about risks of malfunctions being there in all cars, I just explained my reason based on info to share the change of a decision
