It took a bit of time to locate an old school radiator repair guy who had worked on these old radiators. Eventually I was pointed in the direction of a guy who learned his trade working on these radiators since he was 14 years old (child labour?)
This guy opened his shop in 1965 and still operates it. Of course he is very old now and supervises his technicians. I have to say that it is a very humble shop but the workmanship is outstanding and executed wit the utmost care.
the location is shown where the solder has to be removed in order to separate the top tank from the offending core.
