Aoa seniors...I need an advise regarding a good mechanic in rwp/islamabad.I own a civic 2011 OP.I just travelled to rwp all the way from quetta. Travelling was great. Just need to get the suspension checked since I heard some noise from the right side while on bumpy road.Want to get the shocks and other bushes checked as well as 60k checkup.Who do you ppl recomend to take the car to..???
You can get the car checked by Zahid sb, Rayyan Autos, I-10 Auto Market infront of Motor Experts. 03335112238.
Finally, got both shocks changed from honda sawan , though I went there for checkup but for mental satisfaction got em changed...And place the old ones in car boot...:-pAlong with both shocks got shock mounts and boots changed.
Now need to change the brake pads.Which brake leathers are good to have..???
dont forget wheel alignment and camber adjustment.

Car's key is getting stuck whenever m inserting it to start engine. I mean it gets inserted but gets stuck and u have to twist it a bit and work a bit harder. Not functioning smoothly. What could be wrong? And how can i get it repaired.
Consult a keymaker. Either a new key is required or key switch be fixed.
Culprit was my key. I used my second key and it is working like a charm.
My faulty key has central locking buttons which i can not use now as i have to use the other one. Can i make another same key from keymaker and replace it with the faulty on in remote?
Changing tires in next few days..please suggest between Michelin XM2 and Continental CC6 (Stock specs) - XM2 I'm getting for 10.3k per tyre Dec 2018 Manufacturing and CC6 for 9.0 but August 2018 Manufacturing. Not going for Advan DB as im using them right now and they have lost grip after just 30k kms.
Buy new shell from somewhere...costs around 800, get the cuts made from the other key you are using right now...and put the remote in the new shell
Go for the new version of Advan DB v552. XM2 and CC6 aren't even in the same league when it comes to sound, softness and comfort (again this is as per my experience). Tyres that have low treadwear (i.e. wear out faster) give better grip compared to those that last longer. That's general physics. Then comes in the chemistry part of what compounds/gels/chemicals are added into the tyre by manufacturer.
FYI - I used Advan DB v551 (older shape) and they lost their grip after around 50k KMs. So get your alignment checked as well. Car not moving right or left doesn't necessarily mean that alignment is good. Have it calibrated to the stock/original camber/toe configuration of Civic FD.
I got xm2 2 weeks ago. Too good to be true. Loving them.
Yep told you. Goto any keymaker they have blank remote key. He will craft new key as per your duplicate key and take out remote mechanism from bad key into new remote key. Dont forget to take original dupilcate key with you so keymaker can make exact copy.
Salam Can anyone guide me about
