Guarantee wala fuel pump = 40k.
Do share what you've learnt about OBD1. Thanks.
How to do the diagnosis and read the error codes. I am sure it’s very simple but it was something new for me.
The free cap hub which is machinically locked and free are easily available in karachi5000 per pair for toyota jeepsAsin kabli
But u dont only need the 1kg hub caps. There is a 10kg part behind it as well that needs to be replaced as well.Electronic hub body doesn't work with manual hub caps. Manual body needs to be replaced too alongwith hub caps.
I thought about the front free cap hub Rest i know each and everything about the alteration of electronic hub to manual or vaccum hub to manual
Are you sure ?
The pump was in a bad condition (which was recently replaced so lol ho gaya) the shaft was burn due to overheating and being slightly misaligned The head roater had play and main seal was broken. The injectors where in a bad condition as well (which were serviced by the amazing diesel pump mechanic) replaced them as well. The pump which was installed today didn’t perform well so will replace it tomorrow. Thinking of getting a kabli one which will be a bit expensive but let’s see
The good thing was I got to meeting @syncview who is an amazing person and has an excellent diagnostic skills.
Yes. I replaced mine some years back with the manual ones. Body also had to be changed. Some Kharaadiya work, lots of grease, and labour of mechanic are extra costs you'll have to bear.
Be sure to get one from someone who is responsible and through a strong reference. Otherwise its not worth it. Peshawar usually has the cheapest parts
please update ... @homeboy
Was not going to share an update for at least two more days but since guru ji @capsat asked me so here it is. @syncview helped me a lot in figuring out what was actually wrong and rectifiying it. Also a lot of electrical problems were fixed so no check engine what so ever. Got several pumps installed and finally got what we were looking for. The pickup is amazing now and I am sure top end and fuel economy will be superb as well. I will highly recommend anyone who is either in Lahore or travelling through Lahore to get their vehicles inspected and fixed by @syncview or the people he recommends. Will share my long route updates in a week thanks @capsat for your guidance
There was a slight tilt of the vehicle on the right and I thought it’s beacuse of the excessive loading on one side but the culprit was broken bushes of coil springs. This was causing the coil’s misalignment. Got new metal couplings made and the vehicle is back to normal position. Had I gone on an off-roading trip it might have caused some issue.
How is the fuel economy now (km/litre)?
Will update on the next fill up
Getting the manual hubs installed. Just for everyone reference got the original hubs cut to make the spacer for manual hubs. Pictures attached for reference.
And it’s installed.
