Lahore walon k bhi balke Islamabad walon k bhi pachas hazar sirf murree janay mai lag jatay hain yara. Varies from individual to individual and team to team. Some tourists love exploration and their main focus is exploring the places.
But most of the local tourists are less interested in exploration and their main focus is party, picnic and shughal maila, means spending few days in some hill station to break the routine, and enjoy leisure, play cards takes selfies, enjoy food etc.
For former, as they are actually interested in new places, remote places, high peaks, glaciers, lakes etc so more they get the chance to explore more they will enjoy, ignoring and bearing the troubles of travel.
For later, more they have party scene and enjoyable time with each other, more they are happy. If they will experience some bad lunch it will turn them off, and if they had to use some bad toilet at some remote place due to unavailability of other option, it will be a total disaster. So varies from one to other.
You see how foreigner backpackers plan their trips? In summer 2014 a Korean backpacker traveled from Hunza to Islamabad with us in NATCO bus. He had to cross Wahga Border Lahore the same day as his flight back to Korea was booked from Dehli on the next day. So he traveled with us to Lahore but couldn't reach Wahga Border in time because it gets closed 3pm ya pta nai 4 pm for crossing. Khair i brought him home, he spent night at my house and next day early morning I dropped him at Wahga, he crossed and could be able to catch his flight.
He was a primary school teacher by profession so not earning much. But he was managing annual trip to some foreign country every year from years. His name was Piang-Su.
Almost similar story several years back when a Japani tourist traveled from Gilgit to Lahore with my cousin and cousin invited him to stay at his house during his visit to Lahore. He stayed 4,5 days and then left for Iran. And he came Pakistan from India. Actually it was 60 days trip to 3 countries , around a month for India, 20 days in Pakistan and last 10 in Iran. His name was Takashi Kunikava.
He was just 19 years old that time and was a student so was not able arrange much money. But he knew the art of travel and managing the things in available resources in a very smart way which we were clearly able to notice.
Kahani ziyada hi lmbi ho gai, khair point is its upto you how you manage the things.
