I went (9th Sep) there to replace the Engine oil. Got it done, no issues, they also replaced oil filer and air filter. Since, I bought this vario not so long ago. I did not know what kind of transmission oil was used for the transmission. So I went back home, created a thread here on Pakwheels (https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/t/2004-honda-city-vario-atf-or-cvtf-transmission-oil/1167165) and everyone told me to get CVTF oil.
So I went back there tomorrow. Asked them to change the transmission oil with CVTF. They told me it needs ATF (kept showing me the dipstick). I told them I know and that Vario has CVT transmission and hence requires CVTF oil. Considering its their everyday job. They should be well aware of this fact.
Anyway, moving on. This is where they tried to pull a fast one on me, those deceiving scumabgs. You all know they put the cars over these huge gaps where the workers stand and work from underneath. So you have to get on your knees and really bend to even look at whats happening below. So the transmission oil was being drained when the worker tried to put the bolt back on as it was still draining. Not even dripping, but draining fast. Unbeknown to him, I was on my knees that time and looking at the progress. I literally yelled at him. He was alarmed at being caught red handed. After that. I was on my knees till the last drop dripped. Not only he would have caused damage to my transmission later down the line but I wouldn't even know about it because I have been changing the oil on time, right?
I informed the management about it but their reaction wasn't surprising. I don't know but I urge everyone to not go there. Or if you do go there then please make sure the work is carried out in front of your eyes all the time.
I am now worried they have done this to my engine oil as well because I wasn't there when they were doing it.
Remember, if he has done it this time, he has done it before. Not only that, corruption spreads, if hes doing it, most likely his fellow workers are doing it as well. Because there's simply no way they don't know about it.
Thanks.
