It costs around Rs 9000 for Oil and oil filter after every 5000km. This also includes a windscreen washer fluid. However, you will have to pay Rs4000 extra for the air filter after every 10,000km.
Well you can't really compare it with Fortuner. It is like comparing apples with oranges. Both vehicles are different, one is an SUV and other is a compact Crossover. It really depends upon your preferences and requirements. If you need to carry 7 passengers and want to travel carefree on Pakistani roads then Fortuner is the best bet. Also, Fortuner has plus points like high resale value and low maintanence cost.
On the other hand X1 which costs more or less the same (if you add optional equipment) as Fortuner serves a different purpose. It has stiff suspension high maintenance and spare parts costs but it comes with a desirable badge. The quailty is par excellance and the vehicle is pleasure to drive. This is my first German car and I can tell how different it is from the locally manufactured ones. The built quality and the finishing is outclass.
You can compare it with other Crossovers of the same size like Vezel, Vitara, CHr etc but not with Fortuner.
