@cyber satan
i will believe ken rockwell more than i will you. you cant even talk without cursing your mouth off.
the release date for the d60 was january 2008, a year ago and the black gold edition was released in august 2008, just a short time ago.
as a professional photographer you will be well aware that it is always the LENS which makes the camera and NOT the other way around. calling a year old camera obselete just shows how little you know about these cameras.
incidentally which camera do you use? do you use the new d90? or the new canon 50d? and which lenses do you use? do you use the outdated Image Stabablization lenses since they came out more than a year back??
learn some respect and learn what you are talking about before even replying to someone in this forum.

i checked the olympus and it was more expensive and the biggest problem with them is low light situations, i used one ( my mamoons) for a couple of days and it wouldnt stop metering.. to take one picture it would meter the flash like 4 times.
and dont listen to anyone who tells you that the d60 is obselete, these arent point and shoot cameras, if used properly they will give you awesome results time and time again.
i ordered the d60 with 2 lens options a 55mm VR lens and a 18-200mm VRII autofocus zoom lens with a 16gb card and carry bag for the low low price of 600 dollars, which is an amazingggg deal considering that a 50d is 1300 dollars for a body only and the d90 is 1100 dollars for a body only!
