Should you cover your car? Is it a good idea to get your car washed at local service station?
Salam all, my apologies if the question is already resolved above but I couldn't read all of the 6k replies.
I have a 2016 1.6 Altis. Last August I applied low-quality wax on my car, it was Kiwi Car Wax, I don't know if the quality was good. After the back-breaking procedure, wax didn't completely wipe off the surface of the car, leaving it rather greasy and thus attracting dirt...
Not sure if I applied too much or the wax quality was cheap. I want to know if it's a normal thing or not. And what wax should be better on my car? It is Super White in color. People are suggesting Collinite 845 Insulator Wax. Should I give it a try?
What should I do about the dust that accumulates on my car’s surface every day? I live in Karachi and constant washing is harmful as it results in rusting.
There's a thin layer of dust every day, is there a way to get it off without using a dry cloth? (which is bad for the surface). Please, I need your expert advice.
I usually cover my car to avoid dust accumulation, but regardless of my attempt to prevent it, it doesn't work. Cover gets dusty and then the dust gets rubbed on the surface when putting on/off the cover...
Is it an ideal method to cover your car? Does everyone else here do it?
After the rain, my car gets mud all over the tires and below the car, it’s frustrating to clean that. Should I go to a service station to get it done?
They don't use the 2 bucket method to wash the car. They use a random rag to dry the car.
I'm scared if that will put on marks on the paint.
There's no service station in my vicinity that provides quality work. I'm 19 years old and a total newbie when it comes to car detailing. So far I've used Guard Car Wash & Wax Shampoo, but I'm thinking of switching to a better one, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much!
