Brother the swift is equipped with immobilizer. The keys have a chip in them which enables the immobilizer system of the car to recognize that particular key and start .
A copy key won't work.
However the swift comes with 2 remote keys and one key which has no buttons.
So if you loose one , you still have two keys with you.
If you still need a key, you should call different Suzuki dealerships to ensure that your dealership is giving the right quote - check the Suzuki website and you will find the dealerships contact numbers .
My Swifts key had a loose button and I was getting a replacement for 8,000 ( for the buttons key ) from Suzuki master motors , defence lahore a year ago. However the mechanic managed to fix it so I didn't need it.
