Dear members,
I have an FJ40 and recently had 5VZ from a 2002 Prado swapped into it. It’s running perfectly Alhamdulillah. Though a bit heavy on fuel, but not too much of a concern as long as I’m having fun.
However if the fuel economy can improve then there’s no harm in it.
The current exhaust system is just a straight pipe. I’ve had a few people tell me now that since this engine came with a Catalytic converter, I should have that installed and would see a big difference in the average.
Just wanted opinions on whether or not this will make a difference. The current fuel average is 2.5kmpl
