remove the dash, front bumper and plastic mudguard liners, take the whole thing out, it unclips in 3 or 4 pieces very easily (junctions are near the shock tower, steering column, inner fuse box etc, and they pass through the body with rubber grommets.
lay it out, clean it off with soap and water, dry it off - unloom it and check whats damaged, its that simple. Buy a crimp tool, some molex connectors and spade connectors, also buy the little crimp ferrules to join two wires and about 10 yards of thick heatshrink.
Fix it up, loom it back, wrap it back with non adhesive plastic tape and make a knot on each termination of the tape. (youtube a few videos on taping a harness to understand how to do it properly to create 90 degree junctions, T junctions and how to tape them shut) - tip: always loom from the working end to junction end - not the other way round.
Very simple job to do - even if not paying attention at all.
The original fuse links for the alternator are the same as you find in bolan and mehran on the positive terminal - its nothing more than just a thinner wire than the main, it acts a fuse and burns off if there is a dead short in the alternator wiring. - You can buy the suzuki parts if you like or just crimp it like you found on daewoo racer etc.
The cabin wiring is very simple too, it snakes along the floor. Similar procedure to remove and rebuild it.
Almost any auto electrician worth his name can rebuild a simple daihatsu charade body wiring loom.
