Assalamo alaikm guysI am planning to buy a car in pakistan as i am staying out of country and have less knowlege about the auto market in pakistan. Great advices will be appreciated
Im interested in a toyota car (corolla +fielder +any hybrid+ toyota avanza 7 seater or any other 7 seater under 1800cc etc) for my family in pakistan.Either i should go for pakistani corolla 1.3 or chose btween JDms.My budget is 1.5-2Million
ThnKs
Brother your post is not clear, first you mentioned to buy 7 seater vehicle and then you wrote about 1300cc Corolla etc.
Kindly clarify your requirements so that a proper idea can be given to you.
Local made corolla will b my LAST option to buy but my choise is 7 seater or hybrid or fielder any other jdm in that budgetThnx
I'll suggest to save up a little more and buy new Honda BR-V. Its a 7 seater and will be trouble free as it will be a new car. On the other hand used JDM will be hard to find in good condition.
And if your budget is strictly in this bracket then I'll suggest a fresh import 4+ grade Aqua. Its not a 7 seater but its hybrid and has good drive too.

I also came from abroad in 2014 and was in same situation. My experience:Local corolla is brand new so no problems whatsoever for first 5 to 7 years. However, you don't have buttons and joysticks and gadgets like you find in JDMs.JDMs are already used cars so in a few months time, it starts asking for maintenance. Their parts are expensive & sometimes not readily available. That's the only problem you have to face.Local corolla has a very good resale value (unlike abroad). Rupee devalues with time; car prices increase; so even if you are selling the local corolla after 3,4 years, you sale it for your buying price you paid 3,4 years back.JDMs lack this property of a good re-sale value.
Thnx for ur suggestions but im looking a car in toyotaNot a big fan of honda
Well brother its true though if u go for a brand new car first 5 years u wont get any major problem and just do the service at the right time
I drove corolla 1.3 and dint like it much due to its power and pick so now obviously looking for a bigger engine (1.5 or 1.8)
So if i find a good Toyota fielder hybrid 2014 or prius alpha or any other car arnd my budget which is 1.5-2million then will go for it
As i said JDM first option or else local corolla
Need a bigger and more spacious car
I didn't conclude which 1 to buy because i have both.1.6 altis (local) and vitz (JDM).So i cannot abuse either one
To phir advice na hi Dain .jab aapki mentality yeh ha ke jo cheeze aapnae li ha iskae weak points btanane hi nahi ha
Go for a slightly used Honda BRV (2017) model well maintained according to your budget. If you have large family upto 7 family members, then just forget JDM (you will have ground clearance issue).Prius Alpha is very difficult in your budget imo.
Bta tau diay hain dono k weak aur strong points. Poora thread first conversation se parha kareyn. Idhar 99% logo ki (sorry to say...aap inclusive) yehi aadat hoti hai k aakhri reply parh k apni raey dena shuru ker dete hain.Bhai mere... Shuru se poora thread parheyn aur wo bataeyn jo hum ne discuss nahi kiya. Takeh hamaray knowledge m bhi izaafa ho.
Aoa dear .... very easy solution for you.
In jdm you can buy a 7 seater Honda freed hybrid full option car in budget of 2 million ..Excellent family car
Also in local Honda BRV will be good for you .. again 1500cc but non hybrid ... you can find a very slighlty used car in this budget
So tell abt ur local altis which model u bought and whats the market price and about fuel consumption
Heard a lot of negative points about honda brv from interior plastic to suspension to power, so im gonna ignore BRV for now and if i got a chance to get one for a testdrive will give it a try
Thanks for ur advice
