I am totally getting your point, and i admit that i removed N95 when i came to my workstation because it was too tight to wear it all day. Yes it was authentic 3M mask i bought before covid started however i do not wear glasses so yes there are so many ways to get infected even with mask because a normal personal like me cannot wear masks as it should be worn. This is the reason why i am saying that forcing awam to wear mask and then allow them to do all they want is not the way. We need to educate people on importance of social distancing.
Just look at any public/private bus service. The buses are fully occupied meaning no seat is left empty, passengers are only forced to wear whatever kind of mask. Now you tell me what is the % risk of transmission in such scenario? Most people just wear mask to comply with SOPs, they don't care whether its a good fit or not. Surgical mask is not a perfect fit anyway so if you are wearing a surgical mask and in close vicinity of an infected person then it won't protect you. right?
And whether you agree or not but since schools and offices have closed down, none of our family member have fallen ill since last one month. Whereas previously it was almost every other week one person would catch flu etc. So I have good reason to form my opinion.
