Well it all depend on that guy skills ,,,,,,,,,,, although both systems are different ,,,,, they use different gas and lubricant ,,,,,,,, the one thing comes in my mind when I read that you going to service your car ac from fridge wala ,,,,,,,,,,,,I am sure he will use fridge compressor lubricant in car ac ,,,,,,,, it available in all fride ac parts store in I think less then 100 Rs per half litter ,,,,,,,,,, it recycled from old fridge compressors which comes in scrap from different countries ,,,,,,,,, that oil has a distinct smell and you can very easily find what oil he is using ,,,,,,,, I don?t know your car is fitted with ND or sanden unit ,,,,,,,, you must use the right oil in the right quantity , oil grade and quantity usually stamped on the back of compressor,,,,,,,,, General rule of thumb for oil quantity is on completely dry system it usually amounts to 3 to 3.5 ounces of oil per pound of refregrant ,,,,,,,,the amount of refregrant written on the back side of evaporator and on the top of condencer is 450g ,,,,,,,,convert it in to pound and we get 0.99 pounds,,,,,,,,,,mean add 3 to 3.5 ounce of oil,,,,,,,,,,,,converting into to ml and we get ,,,,,,,,88.7ml to 103.5ml ,,,,,,,you can use ND-8 oil ,,,,,,,also need to flush the compressor with oil ,,,,,,,,once all done then flush the evaporator and condenser with CTC ,,,,,,every time you need to fit a new dryer ,,,,,,,, and in my previous posts I show how to fit that after checking all leaks ,,,,,,for details plz check and read these previous posts ,,,,,,,,,,,you must check these 4 parts,,,,,and if every thing executed properly then surely you will have a chilling AC ,,,,,, may be soon I will repeat all that on nissan D21
