Bros!! I had very bad experience with Honda Center 3S Rawalpindi Stealership. I went there for throttle Body Cleaning, Tappet Adjustment and brake servicing. They were giving 50% discount on service charges. after that when i came home the next day i saw that two bolts were missing of coolant pipe securing it with the engine body. after one month i have seen that they did not tighten the air filter box assembly which attaches with TB with a clamp. The clamp wasnt tightened. i tightened it myself.
One other vey bad experience with the same stealership is that my car was giving huge problems of jerks on cng/backfires for last 4-5 months and upon problem touching its climax and one more problem along with it was that i used to park my car outside my office in sunlight and upon my return to car for starting again having parked for 8 hrs, the car refused to start often then i myself tried to remove all fuses from under steering fuse box including ignition fuse and others and car started sometimes but never the other day or point of time. This messed me up in wasting my precious time in scorching sunlight. it took several days in struggle to hunt the problem. i went to honda stealership in RWP and asked for them to thoroughly check the problem of not starting and jerks/backfires on cng.
The electrician checked the fuse box underneath steering wheel and told me that a wire of remote security system which connects with ignition wire was not properly connected and was connected with ignition fuse at back side probably loose connection.
They charged money and afterwards i came home. but same starting problem was occurring frequently in next days at office depriving me from peace of mind. i mingled with my car my self check every fuse and same intermittent responses by car. Again i visited 2-3 times to honda Rwp Stealership and nothing traced as problem. They said it might be CNG wiring problem or loosening of connections causing starting problem. they said that they will remove full cng wiring as company doesnt recommend cng and asked me to leave car at dealership for 2-3 days. this was the saturday before eid as eid was on monday. i came back home without giving them car.
I again checked wiring of cng with the fuse box understeering one eid's 2nd day and i figured out that one wire coming from cng kit which was connected with iginition switch wire was getting hot when i started car and upon removing tape from it, the wire was loose and as it may be sparking. i rejoined the wires properly and taped them again. one other wire which the honda mechanic reattached after removing from behind the fuse and attache with ignition switch wire was also not attached properly. i rejoined it and taped properly. The to my surprise the car's starting problem vanished. The cuplrit was loose cng wiring as 9 years have passed. I also searched internet the whole cng kit wiring and different forums on internet in all these problem days and thanks Allah that i did it my self. Honda guys are really dumb asses.
But the jerking/backfiring problem still persisted. which again i doubted sparks plugs need be replaced as i had driven around 50K Kms on these plugs. i bought NGK genuine plugs form RWP and replaced from local mechanic by giving him just 200 Rs due to shortage of time. I took Multimeter with me to mechanic and when he removed ignition coils, i checked all 8 coils for their resistances as all were giving
1.8 K OHMS Resistance. the mechanic said replace these with kablis worth 5 thousand. i said shut up why to replace as he doesnt know. method to diagnose faulty ignition coil. Believe me after replacing all 8 plugs the car started behaving very smoothly on cng with no jerks, no back fires and just like new car. Thanks to Allah Subhan o Tala
