Dear All
I had to change the CV Joints on my 2007 Axio. That was done by my regular mechanic; however, once we got around to test driving the vehicle, we noticed that the car was acting out in D1 and when shifted into R.
These gears seem to engage after a reasonable delay and the rolls with a jerky start. It seems like the gears are slipping! The rest of the gears seem to be shifting fine. I haven't tried shifting to S or B out of an abundance of caution.
Could it be that the CVT has not been change on time rather 35,000 over due????
Would refreshing the CVT help in fixing this problem or should I expect more damage???
