Alhaj V2 was my 5th car, I convinced my family to take risk after reading reviews here at Pakwheels and after surveying over the web,I went for V2 (CBU) in sunshine gold color.
For the span of one and a half year almost, my vehicle was at the workshop for almost more than 4 months in total where its engine was overhauled twice and converter was replaced thrice and seats were replaced. Other than that there were so many issues that are never diagnosed and even accepted by the dealership.
After a hard struggle of one and a half year, I got rid of this car and ALHAJ FAW bought it back from me. I was committed multiple times by Farhan, Asif and Aslam Qamar ( exec-manag @alhaj FAW) that we will be disseminating complete engine with same details carved over it, but they never fulfilled it, as they might have realized later, that this is beyond their control. (I have a log of all their miss-commitments as I recorded all to gather evidence against them.)
It was a long battle wherein these circumstances you need to make indefatigable strides against the dealerships to get what is your right. Individuals like Tahir, Faisal (FAW ISB) are none more than comedians who are following up on the content given by Shaban (Owner of FAW ISB) and Tahir (Sales head Alhaj FAW).
Atif who is looking North region is literally unaware about the very basics & mechanics of this vehicle.
They really don't have any quality control. The engine of my car was overhauled in the first month of acquisition, where almost all major components were replaced. After that within 6 months it happened again, I went through the same agony and I was assured that this will not happen again if I allow them to work over it. I allowed them and within 5 months it occurred again.
I really don't understand the very purpose of buying the new vehicle if u have to keep it at the workshop after every 5 or 6 months.
In the market, with competitive push, I don't know how they can survive with such a low-quality product and where they stand.
I truly don't prescribe this vehicle to anybody. it's my recommendation. Try not to ruin your cash, Better to endure on solace and restorative allurements, pick those outdated Suzuki, Honda or Toyota vehicles. You don't invest to keep the vehicle at your carport and continue commending the gadgetry traits, vehicles are intended to be driven and they ought to be dependable and reliable as well... A ship at harbor is safe, yet that is not the place for what they are built for...
This all happened to me at FAW isb, where I am sure they must have sold my vehicle to someone else, as it was kept there.
