I have been using Faw V2 since Feb 2017 and in one year or so I believe I made the best decision considering the price range and the features it offers compare to other cars in the same price slot.
Their sales service is pretty good as well and you don't need to worry about any internal failures for at least 3 years of warranty. ABS warning generated an issue and FAW replaced its spiral wire in a weeks time, so I am pretty satisfied with the availability of parts as well as the customer sales relationship.
There has been a genuine issue with the hard gears, usually occurs at the start of the day or may be starting after a long break but it has been the case with 1st and 2nd gear. I think gear change in my next service can reduce its hardness. The gear however gets smoother after few minutes of drive.
I have traveled from Peshawar to Islamabad with a constant speed of 160 at night with all 5 seats and trunk space packed along with A/C. The road grip remained firm and I haven't experienced any disturbance. It was indeed a smooth ride
I have also taken my beloved V2 to offroads as well as hilly areas till Balakot and it didn't disappoint me there as well.
So now after driving for almost 18k kms and 1 year, I am pretty satisfied with the car performance and I encourage you all to do check it out before purchasing any other car in 10-14 lac price range.
