Hello guys, I’ve used euro star with my Honda City 2015 and they have worked fine for 50000 km. what’s wrong with these tyres that everyone wants to upgrade to other brands? Secondly please tell price comparison of these with others. Regards.
there is nothing wrong actually people change these bcz of their width. other tyres costs around 30k-70,80k. depending on size brands and quality
Use yohama Advan dbs or Continentals or goodyear and then tell...you will automatically feel the difference...what I say or others say...won't make any difference....imported tyres are softer, quieter and give much better road grip ...try them....
Is there any local tyre which is equally good as am imported Dunlop, pirelli, michelin or yokohama etc?
Thank you. Please guide a little bit that what size and what brand is good for Honda City 2015. I think 185/65/R15 is best. As 195 affects mileage and 175 reduces ground clearance. P.SI don’t want to spend 70-80k. My max budget for tyres is 40-45k.
@ser_gtr whats your catch sir
Unless u drive ur car with yokos/continental you cant feel what u missed. Euros are total trash..hard noisy tyre. City which is already the stiffest sedan in Pakistan, becomes a bench with euros.
Btw which tyres are best for Grande?
Stock yokos are pretty good wasay.. any issues
Nope just askingBut I observed too much road noise yesterday morning
Thank you. This is really helpful. So which brand do you recommend. I think Yokos and continental are above 50k. Another thing is how to prevent being conned by tyre shop guys. Any reliable seller in twin cities?
go to g10...there are many tyre shops there....
Yokos all the way...try to get fresh stock..yokos are legally imported as well and also check all the markings and embossing. If u find them not neat, don't buy
I think, NO!
I would suggest Bridgestone Ecopia series; best for bucks. Still want better, go for Michelin Energy Saver Series.
These both brands fall No. 1 and 2 worldwide regarding their sales figures, etc.
Reliable seller, which sells properly imported tyres (non-smuggled) and with warranty; Tyre point only, at Metro I-11 Islamabad.
In fact tyre point in any city (where they have outlets) sell properly imported tyres, with warranty.
Thank you. I’ll visit them. Any idea about prices please.
Nope. No idea regarding prices, however, you must have a budget of at least 45,000 PKR if you wanna go for good brand, good quality, legally imported tires.
I drove euro star for 3 to 4 months and faced following issues.1- Low ground clearance2. Noise, very disturbing above 100kmph3. Frequent engagement of ABS even without hard braking.4. Felt like brakes are not up to the mark.5. Frequent punctures6. Road grip. A feel like the car would roll out if i do apply brake above 120kmph.7. Tyre air pressure will drop every 2 or 3 days from 32 to 28psi.
All these issues resolved after i upgraded to continentals. After upgrade i felt like i should have upgraded the very first day.
Everybody knowsEuro stars are trash
