I have a question from cd 70 owners, my 70 had an accident few days ago, hit a chingchi from the back right from the back straignt such that it front wheel bent but not punctured frame is also bent right above the carborator that i noticed after few days while parking on double stand, its like both wheels r touching ground and u can't leave it parked straigh. got it checked with the honda 3s shop, they replaced the front wheel, alligned the handle rod with new balls, serviced the shocks with new springs/and said its frame is bent above carb (one can feel the bend by touching under the tank) and it will be fixed by disambling the whole bike, frame will be fixed on a machine with jacks and it will stratch it back to factory default. total estimate is 5k.
Please tell me how true is that and what is the best place to get it fixed, will the frame be painted after the job? if there are any chances of frame crack?
I know its dangerous to ride in this condition coz the gap b/w the front wheel and piston head is reduced and it can hit any time.
