Hello, Owing a 2006 7th Gen VTI Oriel Manual.
Recently I have seen a problem with overheating. Car heated once and needle went all the way to top. Cooled it down using the correct method, i.e leaving it parked and when needle came down then pouring water after starting the engine.
Got it checked the fault was weak fan motors. Got it replaced problem solved.
Fast forward 2 months car needle started to go up than usual when going on occasional hot afternoons or long distances on high revs. Heatup was very strange, i.e when needle goes up and I press throttle needle comes down and then it stays down for some time. Problem became noticeable after I had changed the evaporator and charged new gas in AC. I also see luquid boils out of the coolant reservoir. Here is I have done till yet to eliminate the problem
1 ) Got Radiator Serviced TWICE
2) Changed the waterbody
Can anyone guide me what could be the actual problem.. and a good mechanic/technician in karachi to get it checked properly ?
Also which engine oil is best for optimal fuel economy. Using CTX Havloline formula 10w/30 and getting average of 10-10.5 in city with vti manual and light footed driving. TIA
