These details apply to both N One and N WGN.
Viscosity of the oil recommended for summers is 0W30 (-20C to 50C) and winters is 0W20 (-20C to 40C). Oil is same for turbo and non turbo.Preference is to get fully synthetic and change it at 5000 kms. If you get semi then 3000 kms. Also, in case a WRENCH icon comes up on your cluster that means you are due for your oil change (generally pops up every 5000 kms unless viscosity of the oil has gone bad).
CVT oil should be changed every 40000 KMs.
Recommended fluid by Honda Japan is Honda ULTRA HMMF fluid (Honda CVT fluid available for Honda City 03-08 can also suffice if not available). Transmission takes 3 litres.
All variants have the same engine which is S07A.
Information on ECO IDLE.
HONDA N- Wgn has the function.
But there are a few tricks to engage it
.
You should be wearing a seat belt at all times otherwise it won't function.
For instance, your fan speed shouldn't be more than 5 bars. The auto function on the climate control should be engaged with a temperature set not lower than 25C.
It engages when you reach a speed of 5km/h and come to a complete stop.
Though the following factors will NOT let ECO IDLE engage:
1) When there is a very large difference between the inner and outer temperature of the car.
2) You are in any other gear other than D mode.
3) If you brake and come to a sudden stop from high speed.
4) CVT fluid is either too hot or low in quantity.
5) Car battery is weak (It is possible as amperage might drop and prevents the car from properly
restarting)
And I'm achieving 13.8-16.2 km/l on a full tank (fills up in 2300 Rs .1000 (octane) remaining Super with 480-520 km range.
Hope this info is helpful.
