To all who posted comments after my post #493 and my reply specifically to post @494 , the following;
My post was in praise of Hyundai and had nothing to do with India . Unlike Suzuki who had intervention, Hyundai entered India with nothing more than a hope and a prayer. The car they started out with was the Santro at that time a controversial design, Yet they were able to win over hearts and minds of millions of customers in a difficult market like India and rise to 2nd position in sales leaving many world auto majors scrambling to catch up.
In return, they elevated India's position in their internal hierarchy by making this region a regional headquarter and earned the respect of the local buyers. That's all i meant to convey in one sentence. South Koreans are now a part of Chennai landscape along with other nationalities as Indians have accommodated outside influences and in return are invited to work and invest in other countries too.
Sniggering and acting snobbish won't change anything or fool anybody and only losers resort to such antics.
