I'm an owner of Toyota's top of the line Corolla Altis Grande, I'm writing this email to raise a particular issue of its headunit and driver assistive cameras.
The car itself is a premium quality product with everything impressive in terms of performance, build quality and feels but it is of sheer disappointment when you start operating the Headunit. It lags so frequently, installing any android other than the ones pre Installed causes so much trouble in terms of crashing, hanging, slow in response, etc. The main reason is because of the use of outdated hardware and 1GB of RAM available for it to operate.
Lastly, the driver assistive Cameras of front and Back are of worst possible quality. I have a purchase record of previous 2 Generations of Corolla, so it was nothing less than a shocking thing to observe for me when I noticed the Cameras show flickering and their pixels are always blown out of proportion. The performance becomes worse in night time driving. I was told by authorized dealership that this behavior of camera is normal as it is present in all cars.
It is my humble request to kindly look into this matter and if necessary a proper recall and replacement procedure to be followed in order to rectify this issue of concern which could be damaging for the Brand image of Toyota and its most popular Corolla product variant.
