I was facing similar issue with a much less frequency with the previous smaller capacitor. AC guy came for charging the gas and installed newer bigger capacitor.
cooling of the air conditioner improved however this issue got amplified.
So now as i understand once i will re install the AC on saturday morning smaller new copper pipes will be installed (3-4 ft) instead of previous length of 10 ft. Outer and inner units will be close (inside and outside same wall).
Further to that i have previous capacitor with me. will re install it.
As per AC guy 1 ton AC is drawing more current around 5.5 Amps where as normal 1 Ton usually draw below 5 Amps.
however on the side of my dawlance 5.5 Amp is rated current written and assuming from 11 years old feedback that it has bigger compressor i assume 5.5 Amp is ok.
so 2 steps now.
new copper pipes smaller length.
old capacitor re installation.
fan speed increased with new capacitor as far as i can observe. but it was not categorically slow with the old capacitor either.
