Thank you, sir
Overall car performed very well, considering the load it was carrying (4 adults and trunk full of luggage). That black smoke was due to messed up fuel to air ratio in carburetor which was easily fixed by mechanic. Yes its a petrol engine.
Only one puncture experienced at Gupis and it too was not exactly a puncture, but an old puncture leaked on bumpy road.
Road to Gilgit/Hunza is not very steep so, there is very slim chance of you frying clutch plates or brakes. But yeah there was one instance at Nathia Gali where brakes started to smell funny. But IMO, that road was very steep with sharp turns and I should've avoided that route since I was carrying pretty heavy load.
Room charges at Shangrila were I guess 5000 for 2 rooms or 5500. IMO, Shangrila is overrated and one should search for other hotels before settling for Shangrila.
This is why I started writing my experience as soon as I returned You should try this too whenever you go out next time.
Thanks again.
