well The Cultus is almost near 18 and internationally RIO more expensive then a Celerio. I dont see a RIO at this price point even if they start assembling one here. Additionally our market dynamics is different. No one will shell out over 2 Million for a hatchback because than you overlap it with a sedan and people prefer sedan over hatchback most of the times in Pakistan unless you are in Europe.
Keep in mind, KIA and Hyundai are not in mood to compete directly with local car companies from their intention. Like Hyundai already calling themselves premium brand. I think Picanto price would be more than WagonR and upcoming Alto and will be near base Celerio. Now it depends how much features equipment it will carry and I think to cut down costs, KIA and Hyundai will not load their PKDM models same as they have internationally.
Suzuki is bringing Swift as CBU later this year as mild hybrid.. lets see how they price it. They will eventually start local production sometime in mid 2020.
