I recently did a diy HID projector retrofit in civic 8th gen with brother @keiworks12 Ibad at my place. Will make a thread soon along with comparison shots with phillips xtreme vision and stock bulbs.
To the OP, you will be amazed at the output and the beautiful cutoff of those measly 35w oem Denso ballasts and bulbs in an HID projector. Like all the other members have said it already, do not do the mistake of installing an HID kit in a halogen housing (installing one in a halogen projector aka 'civic 2015' is wrong too but to a lesser degree since halogen projectors handle glare better ) . It may seem bright to you due to more lumens, but it will be more blinding and potentially life threatening to the oncoming traffic.
Please, just remember that claims and promises and word of mouth and other stuff like that hold absolutely zero credibility if they can not be backed by properly documented objective data and literature. Such is exactly the case with Sehgal motors, they come up with all sorts of baseless tests that hold no value in real life just so they could make a few quick bucks. What good is 6000 lumen bulb if it's beam is not gonna fall on ground?
Anyways, the decision is upto you. Make the wise choice.
