Since I restored the car back in january this year and she has been driven ever since no major mechanical issue popped up but for 11 month I was constantly being bother by the digital speedo the came OEM with my car.
It was sort of heat damaged but was working giving stupid reading and I had no idea how much fuel was in my car. Took it to plaza 2 week ago with a fellow Pakswheeler. The speepdo guy repaired it and after two days same thing again it again took it to him he said it can't be repaired but he retro fitted what most probably is an Alto Jap meter in the casing of my old cluster today got that fixed and everything is working great. The speedo cable is now replaced with a sensor connected electrically to the gearbox and the cluster.
After all the installation the fuel level sender guage seems to faulty now. Still I would live and I am eager to install the genuine cluster whether digital or analog that is why I haven't have the OEM wiring to the cluster changed. If anyone can help me find the cluster with the speedo cable I will be greatful.. Total cost for everything 6000 including meter, sensor and installation..
After spending all this satisfaction level is 2/10 because the thing is not OEM and basically a jugaad but it is making it more drivable..
