If your mechanic is experienced in bike field like 20+ or minimum 15+ yrs experience and he is good n honest. Then i accept your point. That gs runs good with 10w40.
But if mechanic is not good or change mechanics or anything.
Then i disagree. I use 20-50 in my cd 70 and delux and euro. All are good. Start at first kick.
- I put any oil. Havoline or whatever
Delux. I put havoline and last time i put castrol
Euro 2 2014. I only put liqui moly for last two years.
If i had hood mechanic. Bikes ran perfectly. If bad ones. It ran dull while starting up.
I even used 10-40 liquimoly. Felt not too much viscous and engine used to heat a little higher or quicker than 20w-50.

Even though service manual of honda 125 i think recommends 10w-40.
