I finally watched the final soft top down after the finishing.
My Heat Warming Reply; The top looks super awesome good effort, love it, love it, love it.
My Honest Reply It came out good and was a success, since it achieved what was the objective. In my honest opinion it needs just a little bit more work, I hope you don't mind. The soft top looks good when open. But when closed specially its sitting position on trunk looks a little awkward, it can be pushed forward a little where the rear deck is between rear seat and trunk, the place where rear speakers are usually placed. An honest recommendation, I hope you don't mind, but because we all followed this project so closely and feel like part of it now, since you welcome all our positive input, thank you, if you can re-design the roof structure, instead of using the original roof which is too big and heavy, please use some lightweight metal or hard plastic rods, that can be folded more easily and retract fully. You can also eliminate the motor, and make it manual, as it seems that motor is making this set up too complicated, for now. Once it is functional and top can be folded and tucked between rear seat and rear trunk easily with new structure by eliminating the original roof structure, it can be improved and motor can be added at that stage. You learn from your own steps. Improvement is not a failure but a step to success. This project is already a success, since it has achieved the objective, and just needs refinement and a little bit of improvement, I hope you don't mind the honest analysis.
