All new 2019 Maruti-Suzuki S.Presso
i checked out the new S.Presso from Maruti-Suzuki, It is a mini SUV for 4-5lacs!. This car is great for inner city parking and driving on congested roads and you have the height advantage. I won't say i like the design but the seating position and size is a plus.
on road pics from today

this is what happens when you buy an expensive car and try to cut through traffic. i tried hard to convince the driver he had enough room to go through to the over pass. in vain
it ended up being an almost five minute wait before i could move further

i came across this prototype at Dubai Creek and though i was allowed to take pics, the guys inside were tight lipped about the car. I think it;s a Hyundai Genesis since i sawquite a few this trip stateside. Any guesses?
the beautiful looking Dubai Creek area looking like a modern Manhattan, i think

another weekend in Chennai
Great thread. I have been following it for years. I envy the auto sector of India. Any hopes of a booming auto sector in Pakistan are lost for at least half a decade more.UAE has the most vibrant auto scene in the middle east, no doubt.
@Proverbial_Slang
Thanks. UAE is a car lover's dream, USA too I 'll start posting my car pics from US in this thread some time soon.

Mostly Oldies in this weekend's car scene in Chennai with a mashup of some new cars as well.
2020 TATA Altroz
The only criticism i have after checking out this car are the instrument dials which look straight out of a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Siera and excessive piano black finish cover on the rear hatch. The lights look good. fit and finish and creature comforts are world class and engine has a nice grunt to it because of more torque. A test drive is in the works this week and i will post more info on this car.
back to last sunday's pics of some oldies whose owners took on a drive on the East Coast Road and some newbies too
a speeding ever popular Hyundai Creta. A new design Creta is expected to debut this year
