A patrol though an amazing vehicle, lacks leg space in the mid compartment. If the vehicle is mostly to be used as single person or 2 person, its a best buy.
Else if its to be used as a family vehicle, then the low roof should be your priority and due to the reducing number of these vehicles on the road, good ones will cost around 12-15 lacs.
Otherwise its a great vehicle to initiate as a first SUV but given if you have knowledge about vehicles because its not something every mechanic will put their hands on.
I had one for about a year, my only issue with it was the leg space, otherwise it was an epic vehicle.
the 4.2 manual does 8 in local and 8.5 in long. All mechanical parts are available new, and used. Body or interior bits are a completely different story, those are next to impossible to find.
