Facing a little issue, i'm not sure if its even a issue but the readings quite shocked me. So we have 2 2009 sunny's both equipped with the 1.3 engine's. One is a manual and the other is a auto. The problem I faced was that while the manual easily touched 170km/h on a straight patch of road (no inclinations), the auto maxed out at 140. The auto wasn't changing into the final gear, the car kept the revs at the readline (no locking) but it just didn't wanna change into the final gear and keep the car accelerating.
The minute I eased a little on the throttle, the car changed into the final gear but the car started loosing speed. Again when I floored the throttle, it changed back and just didnt wanna change into the final gear.
*Both cars are kept with extreme care, all fluids, filters and plugs changed. The tire sizes are the same too. The auto has a cng cylinder in the back that isnt even used, but I dont think it has anything to do with the speed and gear shifting problem? The auto changes all gears when not floored on highways and city. The speeds above were only done as a test and not a routine. It was just a test between 2 cars with same specs but different trannys. Both car's have under 60k km's on the odo's and both were bought with less than 5000 km's on them so practically new.
So what could possibly be the problem? Am I missing somthing?
