Sir, it wasn't with mechanic when captured these photos, it was a guy from belt shop,
Let me tell you a story of the day,
I noticed my fan belt is having cranks on it, i went my self to Plaza to get the belt in truck, the belts shopkeeper asked me to open the hood to see the numbers on belt, what happened next is when i opened the hood, belt was not in its position it was free and was laying outside,
The shopkeeper referred a random mechanic to open the belt so we can get new belt, i wasnt left with any other option,
That guy opened the belt easily, but opened the fan as well... i was insisting not to open the fan but he was saying FAN has to be opened.
Opened the fan, and witnessed that idle pully located at tensioner is out of barring too, went to the belt shop and shopkeeper said we have 06 rib belt and we will cut one rib to make it 05 rib belt for you and it was costing Rs450, i declined and explore the market to get original toyota belt, found a shop where they asked my VIN number and get the belt numbers from internet of VIN, but interestingly that was very large and was not matching with old one, again explore the market to get TRD 05 Rib original belt but remained unsuccessful, at last got 05 Rib same length same as old belt ( local brand ),
Wanted to get idle pully as well but failed, no one was having new or used Pully, so got the barring and fixed through PRESS,
Another idea comes in my mind that last night the forum was saying MAF and O2 sensors are bad so why not get them too,
Went to toyota parts dealer and got 02 front Sensors for Rs30.000, got MAF for Rs 3000, and was unable to find 02 back sensors,
Came back and mechanic started installing FAN belt and he was unable to do so, he opened 02 pullys of supercharger to install the belt was unsuccessful, fixed the pullys back and through tensioner and Desi tarika got successful to install the belt,
Also installed new 02 front sensors, MAF sensor
Start the truck and there was no pick at 2000RPM, clear sign that supercharger is not opening as it used to work on 2000 RPM, very low pick
Mechanic said belt is okay now but i don't know any thing about supercharger,
Came back home at turtle’s speed to not hurt engine, and will go to Supercharger specialist who earlier worked on it to get it back to life,
Surprisingly, Check engine light after erasing from scanner again comes up and again with the same lean codes
Ps: both batteries of the truck are outdated, low gravity, and having issues on starting, hecause completed their 2 years period, will be installing both new in morning
