avoid converts, they are seldom done right and are always money pits.
Gen2 has a different driving position than all toyotas, its best you check to see if it suites you or not. The suspension is more comfortable than a prado
its in the diesel version, mainly because of lack of maintenance, pajeros require a bit more care, specialized mechanics and the 4m40 i believe doesn't like to be driven overly fast for too long
same as the prado
fuel system issues and extremely fuel thirsty, avoid the 3.5l gdi.
TZ, gen 2 prado, 2 mil ish, in 2 mil ish you can source a gen 3, those are literal beasts.
An all original gen2 pajero, if kept with care, will serve you well for a lifetime, much like the prado, the difference is that the prado is a bit stiff in the suspension department but a lot more rugged in the mechanical department
