Well...
I used to "yell" (Yes, Yell) in forums not to buy Ravi... Because it is NOT an Italian Piaggio, but in fact a "Chinese Piaggio" called "Zongsheng Piaggio"... Too bad, nobody would listen to me... They'd call me names, even go as far as to call me a "Troll"... They'd often laugh at me...
Now, who is laughing now...? ME...!!!
Now don't get me wrong, I don't claim to be a bloody Fortune Teller... I just look at facts, and not fiction... And when you look at facts with an open mind, you don't need a fortune teller...!!!
And the fact is, Chinese Companies have no regard for after sales service... They'd wrap up their business and head back to "Great Wall of China" the moment they start to feel like their company can no longer hold ground in the said market... That's EXACTLY what "Ravi Piaggio" did...
They couldn't sell bikes in quantities as they initially imagined... Then came Yamaha of Japan that pretty much sealed the fate of Chinese Big Bike (125cc is a BIG bike here, sadly...) Makers in our market... So they said to their team: "Wrap it up, men... Fuel the jets... We are going back"...!!!
Okay, I explained it in a 'sarcastic' manner (to say the least) but it isn't too far from the truth...
And now, as you can see, The Chinese "ZONGSHENG" Piaggio owners are stranded with their expensive Storms 125s with "crap" quality... They can't even lay their hands on bloody brake pads to start with...! Needless to say; the Storms I rarely see now and then on the roads will be COMPLETELY vanished in few upcoming years...
Go figure, brothers...
Yes, they'd be rusting in the garages of our "Hatora Mechanics"... So much for a so called "STORM", eh?
Have a good day...!
