if you are testing the fan clutch BMS with a cig lighter and throwing it sideways because it doesnt move - I would LOL.
you can readjust the BMS coil tension.
btw - never wash the clutch with petrol.
The problem is that petrol leaves a residue when it dries - if you want to really clean off the clutch then you need to rinse with acetone.
I myself use industrial soap to clean oily/greasy parts - much better for skin and wont attack my liver. I have had too much contact with hydrocarbons.
medical store dont carry neat acetone, paint shops sometimes have it, lab supply have it all the time.
nailpolish remover is also acetone.
What happened to the clutch which had a leaking ar*e?
If this is too thin - the clutch will almost always drag.
The correct viscosity silicone oil is required. - btw - salute to the guy who used a piston ring to lock the clutch.
Sir its not as thick as the oil that came out but it isnt thin aswell I donāt know what quantity to put in wrna would have pumped some in nd checked to see if its working ok or not Iāve looked it up nd found that it takes anywhere from 40 to 60 ml to make it function properly not sure though.. nd I measured what came out looks to be nearly 30 ml
the correct centistoke rating is critical for correct operation of this clutch.
