Checked the cost of dry sumps over internet a few months ago,, they ranged from 3000 USD to 4500 USD,,, frankly a bit too much at this stage.
The sump that came from Pindi was seeping oil, that is the only reason it is being changed
We might taper the new sump and bring the engine back to where it was but we will finally decide on this once the shafts are fitted. Today gave the rear and front shafts for shortening/extending respectively, hopefully they will return by tomorrow evening.
Since only the rear diff is at its factory settings, plan is to fit the rear shaft first and than align the mated engine/gear with it. If required, the engine will be lifted otherwise it will be kept at the previous position. In case the engine has to be lowered, I will get the new sump shaved from Lahore
