I read the answers and i would like to add something off of nm 4 year experience of driving in Lahore:
Keep an eye on the car infront of the car infront of you.
Slowly start to brake when you see him brake.
Driving in Lahore means you need VERY quick reaction times. Try to determine other peoples moves.
If you see a biker looking or leaning towards his left, assume he is gonna turn left.
Be very wary and cautios of those aunties in their 50s.
It is legal in most cases to make a U turn on a red light. Don't be that person waiting for the light to turn green to make a u turn. While you wait, you keep others waiting, HOWEVER, if the signal has a seperate U turn light, then follow that.
You're a new driver, stay in the middle lane.
The right most lane is almost always the fast lane, id you hog in the fast lane, blame your self for getting rear ended.
Khuda kay wastay don't compromise on mirrors.
Mehran ka sheesha khud haath say adjust krna prta hai, don't be lazy to not to do it.
Always check and see if all your lights and indicators are functional.
I'm gonna assume it's your first time in maintaining a car also:
1. Go to youtube and watch ChrisFix's video on how to wash your car.
KHUDA KAY WASTA DON'T COMPROMISE ON YOUR BRAKES AND TYRES AT ALL. The number 1 cause of accidents isn't speeding, it's not braking in time. You here a high pitched squeeky noise when you press your brakes, have it checked out.
Always use distilled water in your radiator or diluted coolant.
Use battery water from the market for your car.
Now, it's 100% guaranteed that you are going to end up scrarching your car. Don't worry, remember, cars are repairable, metal is bendable, value your safety above all.
Btw from one mehran owner to the other, fill your tank with petrol and refill it when needle goes to half. Mehran petrol guage is very inaccurate and you don't want to get stuck out of fuel.
Also, keep your original halogen headlamps. LED lamps in that housing will not increase your range.
