Correct method to check engine oil level:
(And I believe, the same applies to our 1KR-FE Vitz too)
(Did you see? The correct method to check engine oil level is; when engine oil is warm.
If ride has been parked for whole night / sufficient time, engine and engine oil both are cold, and before starting your engine you check oil level, its not the correct method to check engine oil level.)
Very Important thing and for those, who say that "engine aik qatra oil kamm nai karta" , "engine mein oil ka aik qatra b kamm nai hona chaheye" , "engine mein oil kamm hona weak engine ki nishani hai" , etc. etc.
It is mentioned in none other than the owners manual, that a certain amount of engine oil will be consumed during driving (how much "certain"? I do not know, but an amount is there), and small oil consumption is normal by none other than the OEM, the engine manufacturer and the company itself, i.e. Toyota. In some cases (as explained later on the page), it has been stated that oil consumption can be aggravated.
(Engines do reduce some engine oil, I may not be able to measure / identify & quantify it correctly, and dipstick can not be the very accurate and precise gauge to measure small engine oil reduction.
I also believed in such myths that engines do not reduce oil, etc. (heavenly engines may not reduce engine oil, and I believe, heavenly engines do not exist on earth). After reading the manual, I have learned a lot of new things, and have corrected myself.)
