I have faced the same issue but after getting advice from some kind pakwheelrs brothers,my problem resolved .
suggestions:-Drive in L mode or use sports mode with peddle shifters while driving in trafic jam or hilly areas .
Salam!I had the same problem once I was driving to babusar top from chalaas in June this yr. I drove in D through out my tour till khungraab pass for 10 days in hilly terrain and no issues. The high transmission oil temp came only on babusar top as I drove too fast “Gaddi chik k rakhi” . So I suppose it was because of my driving style. Anyways I gave rest to car for about an hour and then onwards no issues till today. I daily drive in traffic jam for 10-15 min on my way to office and back but no issues till now.
i have honda fit .. when i start car all transimissions options are shown being selected on dash board with that square box.. which should switch on selection of drive or reveres or etc.. what might be the possible problem.. kindly guide
after reading the whole thread, i am just wondering these problems are all coming in 'BRAND NEW' 2nd hand Japanese cars. How about dumping these used cars (so called BRAND NEW) instead of wasting millions and then worrying about all these electronic junky issues.
It's best to change cvt transmission at 20-30k kms
My G Vezel and Fit both have dual clutch transmission, not CVT.
Vezel doesn’t comes with CVT.
Yes my mistake I wrote cvt, bezel transmission fluid creates problems in hot climate countries so it's advised to change early.
I had the same problem when I was driving on the highway from karachi to Hyderabad(not uphill) but got stuck in traffic for 2 -3 hours due to a tableegh. Transmission High temperature message showed up and we parked the car. It was working just fine after a few hours and we had no issues on the way back from Hyderabad.During the rainy seasons we were stuck in traffic for 2 hours and the gears started to slip again so I took a break and let it cool down until the traffic cleared. It worked fine after that.Today, I started the car and the gears slipped for a moment.Should I change the transmission oil? It was brand new when we bought it (only 100km) and now its been driven around 15,000km
You need to change the DCT oil.

what is your vehicle model?
Bro i got the same issue in honda fit but it was solved by disconnecting the battery wires. But on last Thursday on motorway to khi my fit was slipped the gear twice after switched off engine it was okay , but then when i was coming back to hyd that problem comes again and showed a transmission over heated signal... mechanic suggested to change the transmission box asap.
Do you trust your mechanic enough to be qualified to understand the dual-clutch system of Hondas? I believe that you consult the dealership and see if they can come up with a comprehensive solution.
Well it depends on how much your clutch has deteriorated if you need to change any parts. My advice is to change your clutch fluid (use dot 4 brake fluid). My own Vezel is 130,000+ kms driven no problem. When you've changed the fluid the problem.should be gone for good. Then you should change the fluid every 20,000 kms. Costs 750 Rs total so there's no harm in trying!
at askari petrol pump opposite station HQ hyderabad cantt there is a workshop with the name of Car Lab they can help you @babarhyd

Hi did you solve the issue? Can you tell how
Driving style changed, drive on L gear in hill station and in rush.
Mine gets transmission high temperature after 2 hours of driving on motorway. It starts slipping gears
