I'm assuming you mean the steering?
I don't recall seeing any zerk fittings on them, but I don't know. Is that what I should look for? I'll have a closer look.
Put new taillights, side markers and indicators in for safety - cheap, new, locally-manufactured ones for the Potohar. Nowhere near as well built as the OEM Koito lights, which were full of rust and grime but still maintaining electrical connections to the bulbs. The new locally-built ones had flimsy housings, cheap connectors, and janky terminals that I had to manually adjust to make good contact. But they're much more visible, and that's what matters.
My alternator, for the longest time, has done 13.4v at hot idle, 12.9v with lights on, 12.6v with all accessories and AC running. Out of interest, I had the electrician guy swap in a used alternator while he took mine to see if any of the used rectifiers/controllers he had lying around fit and offered better output at load.
While I drove around going about my day, the temporary alternator magnified all of the ignition problems I've been having. The car simply did not want to move under boost. Any boost at all. From what I understand, the injectors are at a 50% duty cycle unless the MAP detects boost, where they shift to 100%. With AC on, the used alternator output 12.6v at idle.
Turns out all the other used diode packs were crap. We put mine back in and secured the connections. 14.0v at hot idle, 13.8v with lights on, 13.0v with all accessories and AC running.
Whatever, it sucks, but I'll take it for now. Minor difference, but enough to postpone hunting for a new alternator. I can actually move towards WOT at 2.75k-ish RPM in 3rd and get some torque instead of the car bogging down with the lights and gauge cluster dimming.
I'm also going to post a video of driving in 4WD with the hubs locked, which I only use in the rare occasion I'm stuck somewhere. I have no idea why it sounds like it does. Two separate shops have said the transmission, transfer case, and rear diff are healthy, and everything has fresh fluid.
