Hello, fellow wheelers! This is my first-ever post on the boards since joining (in 2016 lol).
So basically my question is: Are LED lights still legal in Islamabad/Pindi?
Could somebody confirm this for me, please. Thank you!
I hope they are banned all over Pakistan. Most people do not even have the courtesy to dim their lights even when you give them a signal. LED lights are extremely dangerous as they spread in all directions plus very bright. These lights are actually obnoxious and reflect the same way on people who instal them.
Finally ill have a legal right to call police on an imbicile using HID lights in my city.If police dont show up my baseball bat will surely impose the law.
Guys I'm talking about LED lights NOT HIDs. Are LED lights also banned? One of the mods or somebody from PakWheels needs to confirm this. Cheers!
if your lights are sharp scattering and pinching in the eyes u will get a ticketpolice cannot differentiate between hid - led or factory fitted housings etc
Basically, all white/bluish lights will be banned as our illiterate police can't differentiate between LED's, HID's and Halogen bulbs. Get ready for a ticket if you have a bulb that isn't yellow.
Hope they are sensible enough to allow hid users in low beam projectors
LEDs or HIDs fitted in halogen housing will scatter in all directions which definitely cause glare for oncoming vehicles.
In projector these lights create a decent pattern and does not glare oncoming vehicles.
But sadly our police does not know difference in Projector based housing vs halogon housing. So simply they will stop whoever is using White / blue light.
Provided they're adjusted right
