Some of the trails I ride are over 500 miles away. While the bike is road legal, it just saves time to drive out for a weekend and ride off-road the more interesting parts before driving back. I can cover a greater area that way. Many of the off-road tracks can be done on the FJ, but not all, specially the single-tracks in hilly forests, and besides, it is less fun in a vehicle than on a bike in my view. Having a trailer can be handy if a bike breaks down or is damaged to get it back for repairs. The FJ carries a lot of supplies for the base camp easily.
