Paint Correction Cont'd: I picked up my courage and decided to try the passenger door. One thing I learnt is not to sand and compound and swirl removal in circular motions, It really messes up the job. Instead select one straight path and do all the steps in the same direction. This is contrary to what is seen on various internet sites where they use elaborate cross paths and so on for this process. I am not saying mine is the right way, just sharing my first hand experience.

I did the buffing job in my garage so there is no "before" picture. But take my word, it was a whole lot worse that this. There is a fair amount of orange peal but it is not looking ugly.

I think there is room for improvement after my buffing kit arrives.
