A bit of nostalgia to wake this thread up a little.

AD 2459 pretty much 'as found' some time in winter 2002 with its then rather youthful owner. It had been freshly painted in Carrera Racing Orange by its previous owner, a pot-smoking bus mechanic on GT Road, Gujranwala. By this stage, all I'd done was to get the 36hp motor up and running (a '58 case, as I recall) and tinker with the brakes a little. My driving license, of course, was still being processed.
The car still had its original floor pans and all body panels, except for the W-lid, which I brought back from London shortly afterwards. A pair of semaphores and snow-flake tail lights were miraculously discovered in Pindi over the following weeks, and the car was put back on the road...
Ah, the good old days. This was quite a find 13 years ago; it would be one hell of a find today.
